Meet Hernan Donahue
Hi there! I’m Hernan Donahue, a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience in various engineering sectors, including welding and fabrication, heat pumps, air-conditioning, and water heating systems.
Many of you might know me from Donahue’s Welding Shop in Utah, United States. After running my workshop successfully for more than a decade, I’ve expanded my business to focus on water heating solutions, now working with a dedicated team of expert plumbers and technicians.
I first came across tankless water heaters when I was upgrading my workshop setup in 2008. The efficiency, space-saving design, and eco-friendly features really impressed me. But as I dug deeper, I discovered there was so much more to selecting, installing, and maintaining these systems.
That’s why I decided to launch my dream project HeaterForWater.com in 2025– to help both homeowners and professionals navigate this exciting technology with ease.
